Early Life
Eze, the childhood name most people called Coach Josh, was always the go-to person for advice on individual problems or ideas. Whether he was in the hallway or the cafeteria, Josh was always lending a listening ear and giving advice that was years ahead of his time. With a love for God, helping people, and entrepreneurship, Josh knew he was chosen to do great work. However, it wasn't until college that he had the resources to fully pursue his calling.
College
Coach Josh attended ORU - Oral Roberts University, and it was there that he felt the burden of God’s call on his life. One afternoon, while looking out of his dorm room window and seeing students walking in different directions on campus, Josh heard God say, "If you don't fulfill your purpose, what will happen to them?" Before God could finish his sentence, he was on the floor weeping for his generation, and that was the beginning of his career.
Early Career
On May 1st, 2008, Coach Josh launched his first concert, where he and his team bussed over 100 kids to a benefit concert. It was during this event that Coach Josh took the stage for the first time, sharing his message with passion and conviction. It was a transformative moment for him, as he realized the impact his words could have on others. That same year, Coach Josh also released his first clothing brand called Eternity, featuring the phrase "WWYB? Where Will You Be."
2010-2018
In 2010, Coach Josh became a certified life coach and launched his local group coaching bible study, UNPLUGGED, in a small prayer room in Charlotte, NC. From 2010 to 2018, Coach Josh hosted over 400 events and workshops and coached hundreds of people locally in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. His coaching sessions were impactful, helping individuals gain clarity, set goals, and overcome challenges, as he continued to make a difference in the lives of those he served.
Impact
Since 2010, Coach Josh has written 9 more books, created 4 card games, uploaded over 2000 YouTube videos, answered over a thousand questions, and coached and helped hundreds of people make sense of their lives and grow holistically for God's optimal use. His message of purpose, personal development, and faith has resonated with countless individuals, and he has become a trusted mentor and guide for those seeking guidance and direction in their lives.
Coach Josh's impact has extended far beyond his local community, as he has built a thriving online presence through his books, videos, and other resources. He continues to inspire and empower people to pursue their purpose, unplug from negative influences, and grow into their fullest potential. Give Back
Coach Josh and his wife, Brittainy, have extended their passion for helping others by launching a mentorship program called PROPEL. This program is aimed at serving students from Briarwood Elementary and Victory Christian Center, making a positive impact in their lives. Since its inception, PROPEL has successfully helped over 100 students ranging from elementary to high school find their self-worth and discover their purpose.
PROPEL goes beyond addressing basic needs, such as providing for students' physical and material well-being. The program also focuses on helping students develop their own brands and cultivating a clear vision for their future. Coach Josh and his wife are committed to empowering young minds, instilling in them a sense of worthiness, and equipping them with the tools and guidance they need to pursue their dreams.
Through mentorship, coaching, and practical support, PROPEL has been instrumental in transforming the lives of students, helping them realize their potential, and guiding them towards a purpose-driven life. Coach Josh and his wife are proud of the positive impact that PROPEL has made on the lives of these young individuals, and they continue to be dedicated to empowering the next generation to achieve their fullest potential
Coach Josh Now
Coach Josh is now in his 15th year of making a positive impact in the lives of others, and he is more determined than ever to accelerate his coaching, impact, and message to help people discover and fulfill their purpose and to one day hear their heavenly Father say, "Well done."
With a focus on group coaching, masterminds, and masterclasses, Coach Josh is leveraging his experiences, exegetical ability, and extraordinary gift for developing systems and solutions to guide people in growing holistically for God's optimal use. Recently, he published his 10th book titled "Multipurpose," where he empowers readers to recognize that purpose surrounds them every day, and fulfilling their general purpose requires recognizing and fulfilling daily purposes.
Coach Josh is ready to take the principles from his latest book around the world as he enters the next chapter of his coaching journey. He remains committed to helping individuals find and fulfill their purpose, knowing that it's a lifelong journey that requires intentional effort and continuous growth.
Personal Life
Coach Josh is not only dedicated to his calling and impact in the lives of others, but he also treasures his role as a husband and father. He is happily married to his beloved wife, Brittainy Eze, and they recently welcomed their first child, Hannah, into their family. Coach Josh finds great joy in being a family man and considers himself a pillar of support for his loved ones.
As he continues to pursue his purpose and make a difference in the lives of those he coaches, Coach Josh also prioritizes his role as a husband and father, knowing that a strong and supportive family foundation is crucial for his overall well-being and success in all areas of life.
